→A few weeks ago my family and I went to KFC because we were all hungry and starving. We decided that we wanted to go somewhere far away so we went to the KFC in Sylvia Park. It took about 15 minutes to get there but we arrived.

PARAGRAPH 1:
When we arrived we parked on the roof of the carpark and went inside. We parked next to the PaknSave but we went the other way because it was closer to the KFC. We parked near the Yum Char because there was no closer place to park. It took us about 2 minutes to walk there and while we were walking we were window shopping because my dad was calling somebody on the phone. I was looking at these very fancy shoes because they looked cool but I couldn’t buy anything because I spent all my money on food. My mum didn’t come with us because she was at work and she was working late that night so we were too hungry to wait for her. The KFC was kind of modern but at the same time there was a lot of rubbish inside, even on the grounds. I could tell that the people who ate there were lazy because they didn’t clean up their mess. While my dad ordered our food on the big board thingy, me and my brother went to go and find a table to eat at so we got one before everybody else came in and found a table.

PARAGRAPH 2:
When my dad finished ordering our food he came to sit at the table with us. My brother needed to go to the toilet so while we waited we also went to go and wash our hands because they have to be clean before we eat our food. When we all got back to the table our food was taking pretty long to order so we all just went on our phones while we waited. We saw more people coming through the door and on the table next to us there were two mums with their two daughters. The kids were very young so as the respectful person I am, I was being very kind to them. They didn’t even say thank you but that was okay because they are babies and they don’t know how to talk. Our food arrived and we were very hungry so we all dug in. There was spicy chicken, coleslaw, and the mashed potatoes, slimy thingy. There were also chips but I don’t like the chips as much as I like the spicy chicken dipped in the mash potatoes. The spicy chicken pieces were SO SMALL but it was fine because if I ate too much it would have burnt my tongue because that’s the only spicy thing that I like. I ate some chips too because they were still very yummy and tasty. We also got a drink but I don’t like fanta but I had no choice but to drink it because I was very thirsty. I had one and a half cups of it because I didn’t like the fizz in it so I didn’t finish it.

PARAGRAPH 3:
My whole family finished eating all their food but I hadn’t finished so they were all waiting for me so we could go home. I didn’t finish it all but they were rushing me to finish so I just left the rest of my food there. When I was still eating they were all staring at my food and other people inside the restaurant. We cleaned up our mess we made on the table and then put the rubbish in the bin because we didn’t want to make a mess for the waiter to clean up and also for the next table to eat. When we left the restaurant we waited outside on the benches there for my dad to finish another phone call. I was very full and felt very tired because I ate too much. When my dad finished on the phone we all got up and walked back to the carpark we parked in. When we were walking past again I was looking at the same shoes because I thought they looked cool and they would suit me. We then left because we all knew I couldn’t afford anything. There were heaps of restaurants we were walking past but then we got up to the ramp where the carpark was. In front of the carpark there was a cool sitting area where it was curved and it was like a really steep road to go up. I saw kids playing on it and there were also bird statues there that were like the height of a human. We saw the place where we parked and we went in the car and drove back home. We got home and then we did what we usually do on a normal day.

CONCLUSION:
DUring this whole journey I was feeling pretty tired because I ate too much, hungry because I still hadn’t eaten. And also hangry. I think that my dad and brother felt the same way as me because we were all hungry that’s why we went to KFC.

→In term 1 I was getting ready to go to school for fiafia (April). We had fiafia and our whole school was there. Our journey was a crazy one.

Fiafia is where we go to school in the late afternoon and perform a dance we have learnt for the past 5 weeks. We had it outside under Te Kapua at night and even the parents came. I had to get ready to go back to school because we needed to rush, we were in a hurry. Everybody from our school all needed to go on that night because if there are only a few people you won’t be able to have a big group.

Paragraph 1:
In term 1 we had Fiafia and I was a bit scared. I was at home practicing my dance on the TV for the last time before we left. As I was practicing my dance I realized that I’m gonna have to remember it because I needed to perform it on the stage. I was very scared because there was a few hundred people going to see my dance. When I finished practicing we only had an hour left before we went back to school so my nan did my hair. I was finished doing that so then I waited until it was time to go. On my way back to school I saw families walking around to go back to school as well. I was very nervous because I knew that those people were all going to be watching us and they were going to be judging our performance. It was beginning to get dark a bit outside and the sun was barely setting.

Paragraph 2:
Even though I live close to school it felt like I was going to be late because of the butterflies in my stomach. When we got out of the car in the distance I saw food stands. There was a cold breeze in the air and I knew we were going to have to perform on a really cold night. As we walked I saw kids in some of their uniforms they were wearing and it was very nice clothes because they were going to perform in them. I was very scared but then when I went inside the breeze I saw my friends and we went to go and play before it was time to go to get changed. We were walking around the school trying to find our other friends and they were just arriving. Most of my friends were in the Samoan group so they all left pretty early and I went with my other friend in the Niuean group. We were both waiting outside to let the teacher open the door. The door opened and then we went to get changed into our uniform. Everyone was wearing a white t-shirt and a black & yellow, designed lavalava. Everyone in my group went inside the bathrooms and we all finished. After everybody was in their uniform we had our last practice before we went outside.

Paragraph 3:
After we went on stage I was nervous and I was also very scared. I saw very blurry vision and also it was very dark because of how late it was. I saw kids cheering and people coming up to put money in the jar for our performance.

Conclusion.
Nervous, scared, excited, afraid and also a bit happy.
