Summer Months of the Year – Drag and Drop

For today’s math task we were doing the months of the year. There are twelve months in one year and they are all called a different month. All of the months are called January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December. I was born in January and I am almost nine. In the months of they year there can only be up to 31 days but in February there are only twenty-eight days.

Summer Ratio Practice_L3

On Monday for our maths task we got to learn about what ratios are. There are three ways you could say it 1 to 3, 1 : 3, 1/3. Ratios are very simple and it is not that hard it is just that you need to learn about it. I learnt that ratios are just like fractions but some things are just different about it.  This task is just a practice task because it is probably to easy.

Summer Probability_L3

Today we were learning about probability. All of the basics are Certain, likely,possible,unlikely and impossible. Certain is if it really is going to happen. Likely is when something is probably going to happen. Possible is when it might happen. Unlikely is when it is probably not going to happen. Impossible is when it won’t happen at all.

Summer Reading a Calendar

Today for maths I had to read a calender. I have already used a calender so now my next task is to blog reading a calender. I had to answer all of the questions on the task and it went up to page 7 because it ended at page 7. We also were suppose to do the task using a calender today but we did it yesterday because we were fast and we didn’t have a task that we could do for maths. Tommorow I am going to do the place value task.

Summer Continue a picture pattern_Task2

Today we had to do a second task for the picture pattern that our teacher made.We all did the task together so we didn’t make any more mistakes. It is one of our math task hat we did all together and we also had to sit on the mat to do it.We also had to do what shape or star was number 30 or what shape was 35.

Summer Multiplying by splitting one of the numbers_L3

Today for maths I had to figure out the answer by myself and it also had to be right but if it wasn’t it would be okay because everyone is still learning. The answers were like 17×7 and also even more like 9 x 6 =54. Maths is really fun to do because you get to answer your own questions.

Using multiplying by tens and fives_L3

Today for maths I did Using multiplying by tens and fives_L 3. It was one of my Math tasks for this week and I had to do really hard times tables like 70 x 5 or 6 x 39. I forgot to blog it yesterday so I guess then I will blog it right now today. I also have to blog some more math tasks. And I also had to figure out how I can solve the math task for this and see what I can do

Summer Using multiplying by two and doubling_L3

Today for maths I did suing multiplying by two and doubling it. We did our times tables and the cubes had to do some extra pages . I am also one of the cubes so that meant that me and my best friend Serena both had to also do at least 5 extra pages. It was kind of hard but also at the same time it was also fun. We also had to do really hard multiplying that we had to work out how we figured it out.
